Taylor is originally from Northwest Arkansas. In 2021, she received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas A&M University, where she competed as a collegiate swimmer and earned All-American honors. She went on to receive her Master of Arts in English from the University of Arkansas in 2023.
In 2026, Taylor earned her Juris Doctorate from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. Taylor served as associate articles editor of the Utah Law Review and competed in the National Health Law Transactional Competition at Loyola University Chicago. She was also the president of the law school’s chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund.
During law school, Taylor worked as a law clerk for Epperson & Owens before transitioning to her role as an associate. She also clerked for the Litigation Division at the Utah Attorney General’s Office.
When Taylor is not working, she is spending time with her husband Will and two dogs: Cody and Bear. Taylor is also the author of the medieval romance Some Call Me Eve and is currently working on her next novel.
